At the time I joined I was a school resource officer at Woodbury High School and saw the amazing potential of what diversion classes could do for youth instead of a citation. I worked with YSB staff to help create new diversion classes for the trends we saw youth are struggling with. Mistakes and bad judgment calls happen, especially among young people, but one mistake should not ruin their future. Diversion classes, along with the mental and chemical health counseling, make our community stronger and I am proud to be a part of YSB to make this happen.”
