When to Submit a Referral

ANYONE concerned about a child or teen’s behaviors, choices or mental health can refer to YSB.

This includes parents, caregivers, doctors, clergy members, schools, social workers, and liaison officers. Police, County and Court referrals are also common for situations involving law enforcement, but no one has to wait for someone else to tell them to call YSB. YSB services are professional, affordable and confidential. We accept many insurance policies and also provide a need-based, sliding fee scale.

Law Enforcement, schools, or parents can use this information for submitting a Referral for Diversion services:

  1. Fill out the Diversion Referral Form below.
  2. Upload a copy of the Police Report, if applicable.

THE YSB VISION

We envision a community where Youth Service Bureau is recognized as the leading early intervention resource for youth and families dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. By partnering with parents, schools, law enforcement, courts, and community groups, we strive to keep children and youth out of the court system and in school. Our integrated services, including youth-focused family counseling and various criminal justice and school-based programs, are tailored to meet the unique needs of each community we serve.
